I'm updating news a bit early this month so that I can wish you a Happy Valentine's Day and a Happy Chinese New Year. Today marks the start of the Year of the Tiger, one of my favorite beasts. After all, I have a tiger of my own, as many of you know.

New and Upcoming Releases

I am proud to announce that the first two volumes of the Coming Together Presents series are now available! I edited both Coming Together Presents M. Christian and Coming Together Presents Remittance Girl, collections of erotic short stories by two incredibly talented authors. Profits from the former volume benefit Planned Parenthood, while the latter supports the American Civil Liberties Union. You can buy the books in print or ebook format, including a Kindle edition. Indulge your craving for smart, sexy fiction and do some good for the world at the same time.

Other News

I've been blogging up a storm the last month or so. This week at Oh Get A Grip our topic is "Favorite Characters". Drop by on Sunday and meet Stella Xanathakeos, the heroine of Exposure. On Wednesday, the 17th of February, I'll take you on an intimate tour of the famous Le Trapeze sex club at Hitting the Hot Spot. I'm also guesting at Midnight Seductions on the 23rd of this month and at Embrace the Shadows on the 25th. In addition, I post at least every other day at Beyond Romance, with great guests on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You never know when I'm going to announce an impromptu contest!

For my free read this month, I've posted a Valentine's origin myth. Of course it is a love story. In fact, the history of Valentine’s Day is one big muddle. First, there was not one, but three Saint Valentines, all martyrs during the first few centuries after Christ, when Rome was working to suppress the subversive new religion. Second, there appears to be no relationship whatsoever between any of these saintly figures (who were celibate priests) and the topics of romantic love or sex. So I felt free to let my imagination roam. I've also posted a love poem called Amnesia.
